After years of both working for large corporations in managerial logistics roles in Sydney, Alan and Leone Niddrie chose motel life in Armidale as their "Tree" change. They relocated the family to Armidale and became moteliers at the Alluna Motel in January 2006 and have never look back.

Alan and Leone thrive on the demanding life of running an Armidale Motel, meeting new people and greeting return guests. They enjoy the climate and the four true seasons Armidale's weather has to offer plus take pleasure of being able to spend quality time with their teenage daughter Kate.
